Shoulder Rehab
Shoulder problems — rotator cuff tears, impingement, post-surgical recovery — all respond to progressive loading of the right structures. We assess which structures are involved and build a program around them. A lot of people avoid surgery through this.
How we treat it
We work out exactly what's going on — rotator cuff involvement, scapular control issues, labral damage, whatever the presentation — and build a targeted loading program. This isn't one-size-fits-all shoulder exercises. It's specific to what we find.
Best for
- Rotator cuff tears and post-surgical repairs
- Shoulder impingement
- Recurrent dislocations
- Anyone told they might need shoulder surgery who wants to exhaust conservative options first
Not for
- Acute fractures requiring immobilisation
- Cases where surgical opinion hasn't been sought yet and symptoms are severe
Questions about shoulder rehab
Frequently Asked Questions

For many shoulder conditions, yes. Rotator cuff tears and impingement in particular often respond well to conservative loading. We'll give you an honest assessment of your chances and refer you for a surgical opinion if we think you need one.
